Thank you for visiting my Website! I appreciate
your support and interest in all of the great things happening in
and around the Village of West Jefferson. I
have been told that there is some sort of petition being passed around by
two former Mayors and some other "sore losers" to have me recalled.
I have done nothing to merit such a recall except disagree with the direction our previous Mayors took the Village of West Jefferson, and have successfully taken action to correct this. Just because they disagree with me, and I am forced to make difficult decisions, and deal with situations they refused to address for years, is no reason to try and change the results of a valid public election. Although, this may be the only way for them to return to office.
This effort at a recall is nothing other than a self serving attempt by those who wish to become Mayor looking to gain attention for themselves. Essentially, these individuals are nothing more than sore losers who have failed to be elected several times in the last few years to several different positions, or are people with ulterior motives that have disagreed with me in the past, have been fired or not promoted, or have been called out for a pattern of lying. This is nothing more than politics at its worst, or politics as usual for those involved.
